How do I move my current site to Modomo.com?
Every situation is different, but generally, there are
4 basic steps in moving your site from your current hosting company to Modomo.com
1. Select and order your hosting package. Modomo.com will
send you a welcome e-mail with all the information you need about your new account.
2. Move the contents of your current site to your new site.
(Set up e-mail accounts, forwarders, autoresponders).
3. Test, Test, Test, and then Test somemore.
4. Change the name server for your domain at the
registrar where your domain is registered to Modomo.com's name servers. The
name server information is documented in your welcome e-mail. In 24 to 48 hours,
your changes should start to take effect. It may take several days for all DNS
servers to be updated.
